Our recent stay at a conveniently located apartment in Hartlepool was overall satisfactory. Despite a few cleanliness issues, we found the area to be acceptable for the price. The apartment had its flaws, with the bedding being dusty and one room having a musty smell with leftover cigarettes. The shower leaked, leaving the floor wet, and the toilet seat and silicone around the bath were moldy. The central heating did not work, but there were two electric heaters provided. Although wifi was advertised, it was not available. The maintenance concerns were promptly addressed by my husband, who had to mend a cupboard and fix an electrical issue. The toilet also leaked, causing water on the bathroom floor. Despite these shortcomings, the location proved to be convenient for work. We suggest some attention to the upkeep of the apartment. I would recommend considering other options if seeking an honest and trustworthy accommodation.
